Kyounghwa Joy Kwon Ph.D, CCC-SLP Speech Language Pathologist

Dr. Kyounghwa Joy Kwon is a Korean-English speech language pathologist. She has always been amazed and intrigued by the natural human language capability. She attended University of Maryland at College Park as a Ph.D student in Linguistics with the Rotary International Scholarship in 1999.  However, she wanted to study a more practical field related to linguistics and finished her linguistics program with a Master degree. In 2001, Dr. Kwon entered the Ph.D program in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Memphis with a full scholarship and finished her clinical training by earning a Master degree while earning her Ph.D. in 2010 in Speech Language Pathology. With her previous studies in three language related Master programs and her Ph.D training, Dr. Kwon is very knowledgeable in speech/language development including bilingual development. She was  involved in several research related to ASD when she was in the Ph.D program and is very passionate with treating and researching speech and language with children with ASD.

Marcela Galindo: M.A.CCC-SLP

Attained her master degree from the University of Texas at Austin with a Master of Arts in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences along with a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland. A well-qualified Spanish bilingual speech-language pathologist with expertise in pediatric speech-language impairments, evaluations, and treatments. PROMPT trained, Hanen-It Takes Two to Talk, SOS Approach to Feeding trained.

Oluwaseun Kuye: OTD/OTR/L

Attained her doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from Boston University and has a Bachelor of Science in Behavior and Health. Dr. Kuye is certified by the National Board of Occupational Therapy and has extensive experience in working with young children to improve and boost both academic performances as well as achievement. 



Rachel Murphy: B.A. COTA

Graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and concentration in developmental psychology along with an associate of Applied science in occupational therapy assistant from the Community College of Baltimore County.

She has extensive experience in children with sensory needs  using  Therapeutic use of self, Wilbarger brushing protocol for individuals with sensory needs




Genevieve Brynes: B.A. COTA

Graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, but also completed an Associate of Applied Science OTA Program from the Community college of Baltimore County. She is skilled in one-to-one therapy with children on the Autism spectrum as well as having extensive experience with facilitating various therapy solutions in different environments. 

Molly Harned: B.S. SLPA

A graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor of Science, Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology as well as a speech-language pathology assistant who has had countless hours working with children and others to improve speech and language skills under the supervision of Dr. Joy Kwon.

Zara Bowlby: B.S. SLPA

A recent graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in Speech language pathology and audiology who has a passion for helping children to better communicate. Dedicated team player who strives to guide children to accomplish speech and language outcomes  under the supervision of Dr. Joy Kwon. 

Gilda Merson: B.A. Clinical Administrator

Competent administrative staff with extensive amounts of experience in the healthcare field. Has good communication with clients and is able to provide the help customers need.
